Eternal Creatures is the Brisbane based taxidermy studio of professionally trained taxidermist, Lauren Hundloe. Commissions taken from private collectors, nature and wildlife centres, film/ production studios, interior decorators and museums.



conservation & restoration

Old and damaged taxidermy can be beautifully, and cost effectively restored to its former glory with conservation and restoration treatments ranging from basic cleaning to structural repairs and creation of new dioramas.



pet preservation

When it comes time to say goodbye to your beloved pet, an affordable alternative to burial or cremation is taxidermy.

We specialise in birds and are able to achieve incredibly lifelike results, capturing their memory for a lifetime.



Interested in learning? Introductory and Intermediate workshops are held at our Brisbane studio. Join us for a workshop and mount your very own mouse, rat, rabbit, pigeon or rooster. One-on-one and group workshops are available.



Eternal Creatures has created custom made props for a variety of film and TV shows including Fox Studios and the American Broadcasting Company (ABC).

All animals used at Eternal Creatures are supplied or gifted via natural/unavoidable deaths, salvaged from animal control, purchased from reptile feeder suppliers, or are by-products of animals that have been hunted for food and would otherwise be discarded

By far the best workshop I have ever had the pleasure of attending. Lauren was well organised, polite, attentive, and executed the class at a perfect pace and patience, which enabled her to spend time with each of us. The studio was well equipped and clean, and the specimens were nice and healthy. Runtime is 9 hours but we were encouraged to stay and work on the final touches to our pieces if need be. Even with my morbid experiences with my employment and studies, I was still pleasantly surprised at the process of it all and highly recommend it for those who want to learn about taxidermy, or for those who want to try something different.
